About Esorusk-D Capsule
ESORUSK-D capsules combine esomeprazole 40 mg, which reduces stomach acid, with domperidone 30 mg in sustained-release form, which helps the stomach empty faster. It is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), relieving heartburn, acid regurgitation, bloating and nausea.
Take one capsule on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before a meal, exactly as your doctor prescribes. Common side effects include headache, diarrhoea and dry mouth. Domperidone can affect heart rhythm, so tell your doctor about any heart problems and every other medicine you take.
Therapy category: Gastrointestinal care.
Uses of Esorusk-D Capsule
- Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including heartburn and acid regurgitation
Benefits of Esorusk-D Capsule
Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
In GERD, stomach acid flows back into the food pipe, causing heartburn and irritation. Esomeprazole lowers acid production, which relieves symptoms and allows the food pipe to heal. Domperidone helps food move through the stomach faster, reducing bloating, fullness and the backflow of acid. Your doctor will decide how long you need to take it; do not stop or continue it without their advice.

How to take Esorusk-D Capsule
Take this medicine in the dose and for the length of time your doctor advises. Swallow the capsule whole on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before a meal. Do not chew, crush or open it.
How Esorusk-D Capsule works
ESORUSK-D combines two medicines. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the pumps in the stomach lining that produce acid. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through faster and reducing reflux, bloating and nausea. The sustained-release form releases domperidone gradually through the day.
